1. Responsible Party

Project2Pixel (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2025/625844/07, is the responsible party for personal information processed through this website and its business operations. Project2Pixel operates from Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa. Privacy notices and requests may be sent to info@project2pixel.co.za.

2. Scope

This policy applies to personal information collected through the Project2Pixel website, enquiry form, email communications and interactions relating to our services. A separate client agreement may contain additional provisions relevant to information processed while delivering a specific project.

3. Information We Collect

Information you provide may include your name, email address, telephone number, company or organisation, selected service, project requirements and anything included in your message or subsequent correspondence.

After analytics consent is accepted, technical information may include your device and browser type, approximate location, referring page, pages visited, interactions, cookie identifiers and Internet Protocol address as processed by Google Analytics.

4. Sources of Information

We generally collect information directly from you when you complete a form, email us or communicate with Project2Pixel. Technical information is collected automatically only as described in the cookies and analytics section.

5. Purposes and Grounds for Processing

We process information to respond to enquiries, assess requirements, prepare quotations or proposals, provide and support agreed services, administer client relationships, maintain business and financial records, secure and improve our website, comply with legal obligations and protect legitimate business or legal interests.

Depending on the circumstances, processing is based on your consent, steps taken at your request before entering an agreement, performance of an agreement, legal obligations or the legitimate interests of Project2Pixel or another person, as permitted by POPIA.

6. Voluntary and Required Information

Providing information through the website is voluntary. Fields marked as required are necessary for us to understand and respond to an enquiry. If you do not provide them, the form cannot be submitted, but you may contact us by email instead. Additional information may become necessary to prepare a quotation or deliver an agreed service.

7. Cookies and Google Analytics

Google Analytics is used only after a visitor selects “Accept analytics” on the consent banner. It helps us understand website traffic and interactions. Visitors may reject analytics without losing access to the website and may reopen the consent choices using the Cookie settings control in the footer.

The website stores the visitor’s analytics preference locally so the choice can be remembered. Google Analytics may set analytics cookies after consent. Browser settings may also be used to block or delete cookies.

8. Sharing and Service Providers

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only where reasonably necessary with authorised personnel, professional advisers, legal or regulatory authorities, and service providers acting for or supporting Project2Pixel.

Current website providers include GitHub for website hosting, FormSubmit for delivering enquiry submissions, and Google for fonts and consent-based Analytics. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy arrangements. Other providers may be used for contracted client work where disclosed or agreed as appropriate.

9. International Processing

Some service providers may store or process information outside South Africa. Where personal information is transferred internationally, Project2Pixel will take reasonably practicable steps to use providers and arrangements that provide appropriate protection as contemplated by POPIA.

10. Retention

Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to manage a client relationship, establish or defend legal claims, and meet tax, accounting or other legal requirements. Information that is no longer required will be deleted, destroyed or de-identified where reasonably practicable.

11. Security

Project2Pixel uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, interference, misuse or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Where a qualifying security compromise occurs, Project2Pixel will follow applicable notification obligations.

12. Your Rights

Subject to POPIA and other applicable law, you may ask whether we hold your personal information, request access to it, ask for inaccurate or outdated information to be corrected, request deletion or destruction where permitted, object to certain processing, withdraw consent for future processing and object to direct marketing.

Requests can be sent to info@project2pixel.co.za. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request and may retain information where the law permits or requires it.

13. Direct Marketing

An enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. Electronic direct marketing will be sent only where permitted by law, and every marketing communication will provide a reasonable way to opt out. You may object to marketing at any time by contacting us.

14. Children’s Information

This website and Project2Pixel’s services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly request personal information directly from children through this website.

This policy may be updated when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of the page will be updated when material changes are published.
